Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
This morning a 45 minute bus ride takes you to the town of Gamboa where our vessel awaits to bring us on a partial transit of the Panama Canal. Our exploration of this engineering wonder begins at the north end of the Gaillard Cut - builders faced unprecedented challenges as they carved their way through the continental divide's solid rock for nearly 9 miles. At the southern end of the Cut we'll enter the Pedro Miguel Locks, taking us into the man-made Miraflores Lake. Next, we'll be lowered 18 meters in the Miraflores Locks as we make our entrance into the Pacific Ocean. Disembark at the Flamenco Marina where you will meet your driver to return to your hotel for the afternoon.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
Very responsive to questions. Helpful with all arrangements

I’m so glad we found AdventureLife. Jess, our planner, was such a pleasure to work with. She readily shared her extensive knowledge about Panama, she offered good suggestions and creative ideas, kept everything organized and handled the details each step of the way.
