The aptly named Steel City, home to the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates pro teams, is excited to welcome you. As you explore Pittsburgh, you'll see why it's earned a nickname as the "city of bridges," many of which span the three rivers that converge at The Point in downtown: the Allegheny and the Monongahela, which join to form the Ohio. Pittsburgh's rich history goes all the way back to the early 1700s, when George Washington surveyed the city and the mighty Fort Pitt and Fort Duquesne once occupied strategic land. Pittsburgh played a prominent role in the production of steel throughout its industrial years, but it has now charted a new, modern course focused on a sustainable future driven by technology, world class universities, and medicine. We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.

We had a great experience- they were very helpful in trip planning and making sure we got to do all the activities and see the places we wanted. There were some things we couldn't do/see due to the time of year being the rainy/low season and they steered us away from those. We had never been to Costa Rica before and it gave us a good overview of this lovely country.
