Although it is one unified nation, the four countries that comprise this island kingdom are very distinct. They all have beautiful, green landscapes and rocky cliffs, but that’s just about where the similarities end. As you tour each country, you’ll get to know their unique histories, legends, and lifestyles:
Scotland: The northernmost territory, you can visit interesting sites like the Hebrides (a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Scottish-Gaelic culture is still alive and a 13th century abbey & nunnery can be found); the Shetland & Orkney Islands; or the famous Edinburgh, which maintains its medieval feeling even today.
England: Home to the capital city of London, you will tour this prominent nation via the proud Thames River. You will see the Isle of Wight, where the Royal Osborne House served as one of Queen Victoria's favorite residences.
Wales: Tucked in the corner, just across from Ireland, Wales is home to beautiful scenery, tranquil coastal villages, and the site where the stones from Stonehenge were taken. Stroll along the beach or board a Zodiac to see whales, seals, and dolphins. You can also buy some of the softest Welsh wool.
Northern Ireland: Here, you will see Belfast, perhaps most famous as the birthplace of the HMS Titanic. Here, you can explore the streets for this traditional town, visit the local ship-building & Titanic museums, or check out the mythical Giant's Causeway on the Antrim plateau.

I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them. They work within our parameters of time, budget, activity level, and types of activities to give us great experiences!

We have been working with Adventure Life for 5 years now and it is very easy to plan out our trips. Our holidays include customization of activities and side trips along with the standard packages available on the Adventure Life website. Kevin, Jess, Mary Rose and their teams have many recommendations that have enhanced our travel.

We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.

We had a great experience- they were very helpful in trip planning and making sure we got to do all the activities and see the places we wanted. There were some things we couldn't do/see due to the time of year being the rainy/low season and they steered us away from those. We had never been to Costa Rica before and it gave us a good overview of this lovely country.
