We spent over 5 hours walking and climbing the paths of the ruins and learned so much of the culture and civilization that once dominated this area. Each building had a story and history attached. Listening to our guide and reading the guide books, brought the whole educational experience alive. Exhausted, but so stimulated by the time spent in this area we reluctantly left.
I liked Aquas Calientes for its simplicity, but unique architecture surrounded by high mountains and constant flow of waterfalls, springs and rivers. At our hotel, INKATERRA, a hotel guide took us around the orchid garden. The variety of sizes, shapes and colors are amazing and who would believe that are so many different orchids. This was a true additional unexpected treat to our trip. The train ride back through the winding Urubamba Valley with the mountains and fast moving rivers with the on board entertainment and fashion show made the journey exciting.
Our advisor at Adventure Life, Mary Curry, was knowledgable and quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. She made our booking efficiently and set up a time for us to make a secure payment through her directly. We’ve used Adventure Life repeatedly and would definitely recommend it.

I selected Adventure Travel as I was not satisfied with the responsiveness of the agent for the cruise I was trying to book and it had good recommendations. So far, I am quite happy with my agent, Betty, very responsive and accommodating.

Jess was great. Our plans changed and we had to make some adjustments and she was super helpful. Finding us a cost-effective alternative to our original trip plan.

Erin was great to work with! Very quick with her replies and provided all the information I needed, no matter how many times I changed my request! This was my first time ever planning a trip like this and it couldn't have gone better.
