After enjoying breakfast at the hotel we were met by our guide and were off to Tierra del Fuego for hiking and kayaking. The Senda Costera trial, or coastal hike starts at Ensenada Bay. First was a stop at the southern most post office, which is on a dock. It is also known as the post office at the end of the world. We had our passports stamped and then started the hike. The coastal trail took us from Ensenada Bahia to Bahia Lapataia. Our guide gave us information on some of the trees and plants we passed. She also told us about how indigenous people of Tierra del Fuego lived. At a vantage point, we stopped for some mate tea. The hike continued to Lago Roca where we had lunch before getting into waterproof suits and into kayaks. The kayaks route went through the Beagle Channel. There were many species of birds, all beautiful. The takeout was the end of the Pan American Highway, or Argentina National Highway Route 3. From there we were taken to the dock in Ushuaia where we boarded the Stella Australis. We checked in and prepared for dinner. Our first night on the excursion ship was about to begin.
Mary Curry found right trip for my budget and the best date that I liked. She made
that reservation when other company's agent could not do it.
Thank you so much!

We had an initial virtual meeting with our trip planner, Sandra Fernandez, who was great. She was efficient, friendly, yet very professional. She not only answered all our questions, but also addressed our concerns honestly. After our 30-minute conversation with Sandra, we decided to book our cruise with her.

Although there was a lot of paper work, I received help and guidance when I needed it.
