Considered the most colonial city in all the Americas, Cuenca is yours to explore with your guide. Depending on your interests, there are many sites to choose from. First, head to San Sebastian, the historical center. Here you can admire the colonial buildings and visit the Museum of Modern Art. If shopping is more your style, check out the 10 de Agosto and San Francisco markets. You can visit Parque Calderón, home to both the new and old cathedral or visit a Panama Hat factory (despite the name, they’re actually from Ecuador!). Don’t miss the fantastic view of the city from Mirador de Turi.
This tour is approximately 3 hours and can run in the morning or afternoon.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
