Day 1: Fly from Quito to Baltra | Fly to Isabela Island

Begin your journey with an air transfer from Quito to Baltra Island, your gateway to the Galápagos. Upon arrival, take a connecting air transfer to Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island. From there, a ground transfer will take you to the serene Scalesia Lodge, your home in the Highlands.

Day 2-3: Exploring Isabela Island

Enjoy all meals at Scalesia Lodge, starting with a hearty breakfast to energize you for the day. Activities for the day will follow the detailed itinerary provided by Scalesia Lodge, offering a tailored experience based on weather, wildlife sightings, and local conditions.

Day 4: Journey to Santa Cruz Island | Finch Bay Hotel

Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at Scalesia Lodge before transferring to Puerto Villamil for your air transfer to Baltra. Continue your journey from Baltra to the Finch Bay Hotel on Santa Cruz Island.

On the way, visit Los Gemelos, two impressive volcanic sinkholes surrounded by lush scalesia forests. Next, explore a nearby tortoise reserve to encounter giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Enjoy lunch amidst a tranquil setting before completing your transfer to the Finch Bay Hotel. The evening is yours to explore Santa Cruz. Choose from various local restaurants or savor a meal at the Finch Bay Hotel, making the most of your free time.

Day 5: Island Exploration by Yacht

Depending on the day of the week, visit Bartolome Island (Tue & Sat), Santa Fe Island (Thu), South Plazas Island (Wed & Fri), or North Seymour Island (Mon & Sun).

A delicious lunch will be served aboard the yacht, ensuring you stay energized for your adventure. Day 6: Exploring Santa Cruz Island

Day 8: Fly to Coca | Transfer to Sacha Lodge

Day 11: Return to Quito | Transfer to Hacienda Piman

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at Sacha Lodge, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Amazon. After breakfast, board a water transfer back to Coca, cruising along the Napo River, soaking in the last sights of the vibrant rainforest. Upon arrival in Coca, take a flight back to Quito, where the towering Andes await you.

Once in Quito, travel by land to Hacienda Piman, a charming retreat in the heart of the Andes. The first stop will be the Quitsato Solar Museum, where you can learn about the fascinating Incan heritage and the solar calendar, an important cultural and astronomical symbol of the region. Next, visit a local rose showroom, renowned for its stunning collection of Andean roses. Learn about the cultivation of these beautiful flowers, which are exported worldwide.

Day 13: Discovering Andean Culture | Back to Quito | Return Home

Next, visit the Otavalo Indigenous Craft Market, one of the most famous in Ecuador, where you can browse handmade textiles, jewelry, and crafts. Afterward, savor a traditional lunch at Cabañas del Lago, overlooking the stunning lake.

In the afternoon, visit the Cóndor Huasi Condor Rehabilitation Project in Zuleta and learn about efforts to protect these majestic birds. Visit Zuleta’s embroidery workshops and watch local artisans create intricate designs.

Conclude your day with a drive back to Quito, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
