Discover a fabled “cloud forest” – different from the Amazon, but equally a rain forest – technically a “subtropical montane rain forest." Over 400 hectares (4 square km) directly owned, helping to protect a further 300 hectares more. This Day Tour to Bellavista allows you to spot huge variety of colorful birds, rare mammals (including the Olinguito, only discovered to science in 2013 ), and strange insects too! Birds include the Plate-billed Mountain-Toucan, Masked Trogon, Ocellated Tapaculo, Tanager-Finch, and myriad Hummingbirds such as the range-restricted Gorgeted Sunangel. Spend that spare day in Quito hiking in a forest reserve, or relaxing and admiring the hummingbirds and the landscapes of this wonderful region.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
