The Advantages of Traveling with a Luxury vessel in the Galapagos
Our journey to the Galapagos Islands began with an early arrival at the airport, setting the tone for a seamless travel experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a Galagents representative, the company operating our vessel, the Galaxy Sirius. Chris, our greeter, had all of our tickets and step-by-step instructions organized perfectly. This level of service and assistance immediately eased any travel-related anxiety we had heading into a destination that neither of us have been to before.
The flight itself was smooth, with a quick stop in Guayaquil (GYE) to pick up additional travelers. During this time we remained on the flight and were able to get up and use the facilities if needed, before the additional passengers boarded. I appreciated how well-coordinated everything felt, with each step clearly laid out for us. Upon landing in San Cristóbal, we were once again met by a Galagents representative with our names on a sign, who guided us through VIP arrival lines, ensuring a swift passage through customs. We met our fellow boat passengers in this line. While they had prepaid the $100 National Park Service fee, we were prepared with crisp $100 bills, ready to contribute to the conservation of these incredible islands that we were about to visit.
After collecting our checked luggage for us, our guide met us outside the terminal and facilitated our transfer to the marina. The ease of this process made it clear why traveling with a luxury vessel is such a rewarding choice. With only four of us arriving on the flight and two additional passengers joining the boat separately in San Cristobal, we had a total of 6 guests onboard the brand new Galaxy Sirius. The small group size fostered a friendly and intimate atmosphere right away!
Choosing to travel with a luxury vessel in the Galápagos not only enhanced the overall experience with superior service but also provided a more personalized journey. As we made our way to the marina, I felt a growing excitement for the unique experiences that awaited us in this pristine paradise.

The staff at Adventure Life made planning my family's trip to the Galapagos Islands as easy as possible.
