The Posada San Antonio was the idea of a family of hoteliers who wanted to introduce the Villa de Leyva region to a hotel that combines fantastic accommodations and service, with the personal touches of a traditional colonial hotel. The hotel consists of three main building and restaurant, the Kitchen. The buildings and grounds have been meticulously preserved and in traditional colonial architecture. The hotel provides plenty of intimate and private spaces to relax, including a private reading salon, courtyard, fine cuisine and dining areas, as well as a art gallery. In addition, the hotel offers wi-fi, meeting areas, and private parking. San Antonio's restaurant, The Kitchen, offers dishes that satisfying the palate, by using quality products in unique Colombian and European cuisine. The food is the star and meals are designed to let the natural flavors shine through. The philosophy of each dish is based on fresh, seasonal products -- designing the menu around fruits and vegetables from local farms picked at their peak, when the flavors are at their best. New menus are produced each week so that guests have the possibility of sampling new and different flavors and products throughout their stay. The restaurant also produces its own breads, marmalades, butter, etcetera.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them. They work within our parameters of time, budget, activity level, and types of activities to give us great experiences!

We have been working with Adventure Life for 5 years now and it is very easy to plan out our trips. Our holidays include customization of activities and side trips along with the standard packages available on the Adventure Life website. Kevin, Jess, Mary Rose and their teams have many recommendations that have enhanced our travel.

We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.
