Formerly a mansion, this 19th century building is now one of Barichara's most comfortable and inviting hotels. Centrally located in a quite part of the city, the hotel is a combination of the old house and new additions to accommodate guests. The grounds at La Mision are characterized by flourishing gardens and plenty of hammocks to relax in. A family-friendly hotel, La Mision offers a swimming pool, child's play area and game room. The La Mision Santa Barbara offers suites and standard rooms. Suites are more spacious and most have queen size beds, a desk and sofa bed. The rooms offer access to patios and gardens. Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
