Day 1: Iquitos | Nauta | Embark | Marañon River | Yacapana

After arrival, transfer by private vehicle to Nauta port for boarding. Enjoy a box lunch on the way. Staff will escort you to your suite, equipped with comfortable beds, Peruvian pima cotton sheets, bathrobes, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with shower and amenities. Before departure, the bartender will serve a cocktail made with local fruits and pisco. Enjoy it while taking in the river views from the observation deck or lounge.

Once underway, naturalist guides will explain the itinerary, covering activities, routes, wildlife, vegetation, and the area’s geography and history. Guides are available for any questions. After the briefing, relax before heading out on skiffs to Yacapana for a nighttime search of alligators, tarantulas, frogs, and other nocturnal wildlife.

Return to the ship for dinner. Savor a special Peruvian meal with an Amazonian influence, including vegetarian options. Inform staff of any dietary needs in advance.

Day 2: Amazon River | San Joaquin De Omaguas | Yarapa River | Ucayali River

At dawn, embark on a boat trip to explore the Amazon River and observe the daily activities of communities along its banks. Return to the ship to enjoy a buffet breakfast with traditional dishes, Peruvian specialties, homemade baked goods, and freshly prepared juices. After breakfast, depart on a boat excursion to explore the Yarapa River in search of wildlife.

Return to the cruise for lunch. Before the afternoon activity, the guides will give a talk on local culture. In the afternoon, visit the Paranapura community to learn about their way of life and customs, with guides serving as interpreters. As sunset approaches, head out to search for nocturnal wildlife, such as alligators, bats, frogs, tarantulas, and other jungle species.

Before dinner, relax with live music performed by the onboard band, featuring a mix of Amazonian, national, and international songs.

Day 3: Yarapa de Ucayali (Black Water) | Yucuruchi | Amazon River (Origin)

Before breakfast, you will start an excursion by boat, but this time on the Yarapa River, in search of new imposing landscapes and more emblematic species of the Amazon. After breakfast, you will start a walk in Yucuruchi, the area of the Ucayali River, located in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, where numerous species of native animals will be sighted. Return to the ship.

At noon they will offer lunch and then you will have time to rest before the afternoon outing, a boat trip on the Amazon River, in search of the curious pink dolphins and other species. Before returning to the ship, appreciate the breathtaking colors of the Amazonian sunset. Back on the ship, you will have time to rest and relax with live music while you make time before the presentation of the crew and farewell dinner.

Day 4: Nauta Port | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch
After breakfast, you will proceed to disembark. On your way to the airport, visit Amazon Forever Bio Park, also known as Manatees Rescue Center, where biologists and volunteers care for manatees, an endangered species. Learn how manatees are treated and prepared for their return to their natural habitat. Likewise, other animals are also rescued, treated, and reinserted into their natural habitat. They actively collaborate with this dedicated organization and think tank.
They invite you to do so as well and help this meaningful cause. Transfer to the airport.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
