Taste your way through Miraflores, San Isidro, and Barranco on a gourmet bike tour of Lima that explores local flavors, food markets, and fresh fruits. Included tastings are a great introduction to Peruvian food, cover far more dishes than you could by visiting tourist restaurants while discovering three vibrant neighborhoods at the cutting edge of Lima’s food scene.

To explore Lima from a different angle, try our bicycle tour. You will start in the district of Miraflores, pedalling along the Malecon with a spectacular view over the Pacific. Reward yourself with an exquisite seafood lunch, including Peru`s world famous ceviche. Pamper your palate further with another local delicacy, causa, layers of mashed potato stuffed with chicken or fish. Save your appetite for a third restaurant visit where the star dish is lomo saltado, a richly flavoured dish of strips of beef, stir-fried in a wok and served with potato fries. For dessert you can choose between homemade ice cream or picarones, donuts made with a sweet potato and pumpkin dough, seasoned with cloves and cinnamon, and then covered with honey. Close the tour with a tasting of craft beers.Finally, pedalling continues through the different streets of Barranco and Miraflores.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
