The Adventure Life grant program sponsored a reforestation project for the Cachiccata and Socma communities. Two thousand trees were planted during the project. The group used a tree call the Tara, which is native to this area in Peru. The tree fruit is another benefit to the community which will be enjoyed for generations to come. It also fetches a good price in the local markets - giving another source of sustainable income to the local families. It's the gift that keeps on giving!
Having done a trip in the past with Adventure Life, I found picking a trip and customizing it was a breeze and fit everything I wanted
