Woke up early for our trip to the Sacred Valley. The Pisac ruins is majestic! Perched atop a mountain overlooking the valley and Pisac town below.
Just WOW! A wonderful sight to behold! The combination of engineering skills of Inca civilization, history, and incredible landscape have been catching travelers' attention for decades.
After which, we visited Munaypata Intiqhawarina. It's a cooperative of women where their handicrafts are displayed for purchase. During our visit, they demonstrated how to create wonderful colors of the alpaca fabric from natural materials and weave into a beautiful coat.

Down to Yucay Museum. We were able to learn about some of the oldest practices of the local inhabitants, such as: readings of coca leaves, offerings to the land, tasting of 'chicha' (a drink made from fermented corn) and more. Off to Yucay Museum! (Michelle Dayon)

Next stop, Ollantaytambo Ruins- is a picturesque town in the Peruvian Andes.

Ollantaytambo is definitely worth a visit! This is a charming small town with the most incredible Incan ruins, and located at the heart of one of the most beautiful and interesting areas of Peru.
After a long day, it's time to rest for the next day's adventure- Machu Picchu!
