Partying in OllantaytamboFinally, I had a free day to relax and enjoy the culture and the people. I wandered the streets of Cusco and spent countless hours in the Plaza de Armas watching and talking with people; I don’t think I’ve ever met friendlier people. The only thing I had to do was buy some additional warm clothes in preparation for the remainder of the trip; we had been advised Puno and the Lake Titicaca area were experiencing abnormally cold weather…25-65o Fahrenheit. Being from Southern California, I was definitely not prepared for that!
