Day 4: Lipari

After a relaxing morning, you can spend your day on the deck soaking up the sun and the cool sea breeze. The boat will sail around Stromboli, one of the seven volcanic islands of the Aeolian Archipelago, off Sicily's northern coast. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the world's most active volcanoes, continuously spewing lava for nearly 2500 years. The boat will anchor at Lipari Island at around noon. Before the included BBQ lunch on board, the chef will share the recipe for the Pesto a la Trapanese dip. You can explore Lipari at your own pace in the afternoon and enjoy dinner ashore. Overnight at Lipari.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
