Day 1: Nice, France | Embark

Nice captivates with its blend of Mediterranean sophistication and sunlit shores. Walk along the iconic Promenade des Anglais, wander through Vieux Nice’s lively alleys and vibrant markets, and indulge in exquisite local cuisine. With a pleasant climate year-round, Nice is an ideal retreat where French elegance meets coastal charm.

Day 2: Lerici, Italy

At Villa Magni near Lerici, Percy Bysshe Shelley spent his final joyful days before setting sail on his fateful voyage in a storm on July 8, 1822. Lord Byron, another literary figure tied to Lerici, famously swam across what is now known as the “Golfo dei Poeti.” Nearby fishing villages like San Terenzo, Tellaro, Fiascherino, and Montemarcello share the charm of the more renowned Cinque Terre.

Day 3: Portoferraio, Elba

From his villa in Portoferraio, Napoleon, the exiled Emperor of France, looked out over the waiting ships in the harbor and dreamed of returning to glory. Enjoy a local vineyard tour, and near Portoferraio, discover the remains of an ancient Etruscan civilization.

Day 4: Sant'Amanza Beach | Bonifacio, Corsica

Sant'Amanza is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island of Corsica. Located on its southernmost tip, it is surrounded by limestone cliffs, granite rocks, and scrub, with sands lapped by crystal-clear azure waters. It is a popular location for water sports, including kite surfing.

Bonifacio, a magnificent town in the far south of Corsica, is renowned for its spectacular medieval architecture, impressive limestone cliffs, and picturesque harbor. Nestling atop cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Bonifacio offers breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and neighboring islands.

Day 5: Alghero, Sardinia, Italy

Alghero is the main resort northwest of Sardinia and one of its most beautiful medieval cities. Its bustling historic center is packed with excellent bars and restaurants, making it a great place to hang out. It is also ideally placed for exploring the beaches of nearby Riviera del Corallo. Interestingly, a medieval Catalan is still spoken even though the Iberians left three centuries ago.

Day 6: Porticcio Beach | Ajaccio, Corsica

Porticcio, on the southern shore of the Gulf of Ajaccio, is a charming seaside resort renowned for its fine sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Combining natural beauty with modern facilities, it offers water sports, lively walks, and tasty local specialties.

Ajaccio, the capital of Corsica, is situated on the island's west coast and is a bustling port city with a relaxed atmosphere. It is known for its charming cobbled streets, relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, and rich cultural heritage as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Ajaccio offers a unique experience that combines history, nature, and gastronomy.

Day 7: Fontvieille, Monaco (Grand Prix Trials)

The Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix is considered one of the world's most prestigious motor races, just as well known as the Indianapolis 500, the Le Mans 24 Hours, or the Monte Carlo Rally WRC. Since its creation in 1929, drivers and teams have always relished the challenge of driving on a narrow circuit through the streets of the Principality of Monaco, with its many changes in elevation, tight bends, and famous tunnel. It is undoubtedly one of the most demanding circuits on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar and one that drivers and teams want to win! Don't forget to book your ticket.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
