If the turquoise waters, ancient cities, quaint towns, legends, and idyllic climate of the Mediterranean are calling you, then we’re here to make choosing your small ship cruise an easy process. From coastal
France to
Italy and the
Dalmatian Coast, to the
Greek Isles, any cruise to the Mediterranean is an active yet relaxing journey through history and paradise. We're here to help navigate the many options available and help you:
- Choose when you’d like to travel
- Decide on the length of your trip
- Narrow down which cities & sites you’d like to see
- Decide whether you're looking for a themed experience
- Select your boat
Choose where to travel
Probably the best first step in choosing your Mediterranean cruise is picking which part of the Mediterranean you’d like to visit. Scores of small ships and yachts travel these waters, but only several of our hand-selected list of boats visit each destination.
Some popular Mediterranean options are:
- Adriatic Sea and the Dalmatian Coast
- Italy (including Rome & Venice)
- Greece (including the Aegean Islands or the Cyclades)
- Corsica, Sicily, and the French Riviera
- Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands
Decide on the length of your trip
There are Mediterranean cruises to meet any amount of time that you are seeking - from just 4-day cruises that are excellent extensions to land-based trips or combinations with other cruises, week-long itineraries, or even vacations that spend 2-4 weeks on the tranquil Mediterranean waters.
The most popular options are the 8-day cruises that fit most people’s vacation schedules and offer excursions in every part of the Mediterranean.
Choose your experience
If you’re traveling to the Mediterranean for a special event or hoping to enjoy certain activities while on your cruise of the Mediterranean, consider narrowing down your list to one of the itineraries based on experiences, like honeymoon or
luxury cruises, itineraries designed for solo travelers,
food & wine or cultural trips, or the relaxing beach cruises.
Select your boat
As you scroll through the
boats, you’ll realize that there are several main types of vessels that cruise the Mediterranean on our list: sailing yachts, windjammers, and mega yachts. No matter which you choose, you are promising yourself a wonderful experience.
The
sailing yachts and windjammers sail largely by the power of the wind and offer a more classical atmosphere on board. While they tend to have less deck space than the mega yachts, the elegance and feel of cutting through the crystal waters of the Mediterranean under the proud masts of a sailing vessel is a unique experience.
The
mega yachts generally accommodate between 50-200 passengers and feature a bit more space on board, combining modern design with excellent service.
