The plane ride from Athens to Frankfurt was like most other flights, with one caveat - I got to start testing my German speaking skills with the flight attendants. I had been practicing my German for several months even getting help from my co-worker Christina with weekly video chats. I passed my own test with flying colors, but it was all pretty easy conversations (“Would you like water?”, “Can I get you a snack?”, etc.). I learned very quickly that almost everyone in Germany speaks English, and do so better than I speak German, but I continued to speak German when I can.
We decided early on in our planning that we would use the public transit system as much as possible. As silly as it sounds, I looked forward to experiencing the fine-tuned European rail-system. I’ve only really experienced the 24 hour Amtrak ride from between Montana and Minnesota, which really left me unenthusiastic about trains in the US. Navigating the trains were not straight forward for us novices, I enlisted the help of some local information booths and they got us in the right direction.
After arriving to our accommodations we drop our bags in our room and then explore the city. I booked a location close to the city center, so that walking would be our main mode of getting around. We enjoyed a meal outside and took some time to plan our itinerary for the next day.
With the only full day in Frankfurt we were able to pack in the Städel museum of art, the Frankfurt Historical museum, the Struwwelpeter museum, and the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus. We were hoping to get to the zoo, but we ran out of time, we had to take the expedited Struwwelpeter experience in order to squeeze that museum in to our day.
Frankfurt is a major city but with the walking streets closed to car traffic and small neighborhoods it was really accessible for travelers. The Main River divides the city with pedestrian and bike paths on both sides. There were bridges regularly spaced which made it easy to get from one side of the river to the other.
We meet very nice people in Frankfurt all of them willing to humor my German speaking skills. We came away with our sampling of Frankfurt wanting more. More time to see more museums, enjoy more restaurants, and, for Beth, drink more beer.
Very well ececuted. Hily recomended. Great experiance

Belize adventures
I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them. They work within our parameters of time, budget, activity level, and types of activities to give us great experiences!

We have been working with Adventure Life for 5 years now and it is very easy to plan out our trips. Our holidays include customization of activities and side trips along with the standard packages available on the Adventure Life website. Kevin, Jess, Mary Rose and their teams have many recommendations that have enhanced our travel.

We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.
