A half-day navigation led us to the most popular city in the Ionian islands, Corfu.
Corfu has been prized for its natural beauty and for its strategic position as access to the Adriatic Sea. The Venetian influence is again very strong here and appears in a graceful blend with Greco-Byzantine architecture.
According to the legend, Odysseus landed in the nearby islet of Pontikonisi, after being caught in a storm while escaping from Calypso.

The Adventure Life staff, for me it's Franny, always listens to what I say about what kind of travel my wife and I want and expect. It never goes wrong. The motto at AL seems to be I will get back to you right away if not sooner. Requested changes and special requests are encouraged and acted on ASAP.

Prompt responses with full details needed to make our decision. Mary gave all her contact info including time she is available and website to schedule a call so we knew what to expect. My only issue was the means to change to a personal password. Once I asked Mary she connected me with her admin person and I accomplished the change.
