Hello everyone! ^_^ This is a blog for my adventures in Ecuador! I journeyed down the Napo River and explored many areas of the Amazon Rainforest!! I saw hundreds of flora and fauna that were truly incredible!!

What is your dream adventure? Traveling to Peru (Mira Flores, Cusco, trekking to Machu Picchu, and Puerto Maldanado) was a check off our bucket list. We stretched our mind and bodies and surpassed a trip of our wildest dreams.

Ken and I are left thinking, what could possible surpass this dream?

We headed back in time to the deceivingly desolate Galapagos Islands for a cruise through Santa Cruz, Genovesa, Santiago, and Bartolome Islands. We then then continued to the lush Amazon Basin, where we enjoyed four days exploring the forest floor and canopy surrounding Sacha Lodge.

To say this was an adventure of a life time is an understatement. It wasn't long after the MY Tucano left the dock in Manaus that I spotted my first of many grey dolphins. The Rio Negro was so expansive it looked more like an ocean than a river.

The Amazon Rainforest, another of the amazing natural wonders of the world found in South America. As our most recent adventure draws to a close, we were fortunate to end our trip in such a wonderful, beautiful, tranquil and pristine spot...The Sacha Lodge, located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Rainforest.

My trip to Brazil was great with a few days to explore Rio and the famous statue. Nothing you read will prepare you for the breathtaking views of the city from above. We took on the mighty waves in an adventurous rafting trip as well. I look forward to going back and doing more Brazil tours soon!

Delving into the rich wildlife of the Amazon, we explore the Napo and Aguarico Rivers of Ecuador. Then it on to Sacha Lodge to experience the unique atmosphere at this ecolodge on our Ecuador tour.

By paddling, hiking and biking you get close to so many unusual birds and reptiles. I felt like we were in the Center of the Earth. I thought that it is impossible for birds to have blue feet- but here they are, living next to penguins on the equator.

Neither the best coffee-table book nor video documentary begins to capture the Galapagos. Only walking (and biking) the ground, paddling the shore and snorkling the waters can give a sense of the beauty and fragility of this one-of-a-kind place
