More Relaxing in Placencia!

Today was another day of just relaxing before heading home. We did our last-minute shopping, ate some more great local food and swimming in the pool. I really was enjoying the laid-back lifestyle of Placencia, and felt I could have spent another week doing just this! We ate our last dinner in Belize at the local tapas restaurant called Barcelona. We sat at the bar and spent much of our evening chatting with the couple from Spain who had opened the restaurant less than a year ago. It was the best Spanish food I have had outside of Spain, and it really brought me back to my months spent there in college. Such a great way to spend our last evening!
