Having spent five seasons working for the US Antarctic Program on the Ross Sea side of Antarctica, it has long been time to finally visit the Antarctic Peninsula on a cruise. With Aurora Expeditions offering a 13-day fly-cruise that spent nine full days exploring the Peninsula, aboard the brand-new Greg Mortimer, the perfect opportunity had presented itself. Now it was just a matter of navigating Chile's post-Covid requirements, and getting on board!
