Day 1: Arrive to Kenai Riverside Lodge

This afternoon you are picked up in Anchorage to travel to Kenai Riverrside Lodge, a wilderness and fishing lodge nestled along the edge of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge near Cooper Landing. This Alaska wilderness lodge is situated along the banks of the Kenai River and is a great home base for guided excursions and Alaska fishing tours. Stay in cozy cabins just steps from the Kenai River. After your day of adventuring, relax in the main lodge and enjoy a delicious family-style meal.
 

Day 2: Explore the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge

Spend today out on any number of guided excursions exploring the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and the Chugach Mountains. The guided excursions available from the lodge make it easy to find adventure. Go on a full day rafting trip down the Kenai Canyon or hike the guided trails of the Chugach National Forest to learn about the native uses of numerous plants and flowers you will see along the way. Opt to relax at the lodge in a rocking chair and take in the breathtaking Kenai River as you watch for wildlife from the deck. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy a day of guided fishing on the world famous Kenai River for an additional cost. Try your hand for salmon or trout and enjoy an unforgettable experience with your expert fishing guides.
