Although cruises are our most popular option for Alaskan expeditions, we also feature several hotels that put you right in the heart of the area's majestic nature. Consider exploring the 6-million acre Denali National Park, home to expansive wildnerness & North America's tallest peak - Mt. McKinley. Denali Cabins, Denali Backcountry Lodge, and Camp Denali/ North Face Lodge provide a great base for your own frontier experience. Due south, in the Gulf of Alaska you'll find the six comfortable cabins of Tutka Bay Lodge, delightfully secluded on the evergreen landscape of Kachemak Bay, with easy access to hiking, kayaking, whale watching, and even cooking classes. The Winterlake Lodge, on the Alaska Range, will take you back to the times of the Iditarod Trail, when the pioneers first settled this pristine wilderness.

Standard Hotels

The Standard Hotels are our primary hotel choices in this location, though availability is not guaranteed. If a given hotel is not available for your tour date, we will reserve you a room at a location of similar appeal and quality in the same area.
