Alaska Glacier Lodge Adventures
During your stay at Alaska Glacier Lodge, you can opt to participate in a number of guided tours and excursions in the area. Options include hiking, kayaking, rafting and even dog-sled tours in the summer. Glacier landing and helicopter tours are also possible for the adventurous at heart.
Dog Sled Adventures: Drive your own dog-sled team in summer. This Alaska adventure is suitable for the entire family and includes a half hour helicopter ride landing in a snow field. Set out with mushers and dogs to experience a glimpse of the Iditarod yourself. Stand on the runners and mush!
Heli-Glacier Landing: Fly over the icy-blue tones of the glacier and lake before landing for at least 30 minutes on the massive glacier. Get out and explore a bit with your guide before returning. Tours are offered with round-trip transfers from Anchorage in 60, 75, and 90 minute lengths.
Tour Icebergs by Raft or Kayak: Combine a half hour helicopter flight with a guided raft or kayak adventure around massive icebergs in Lake George.
