Ruckomechi Camp is situated along the western edge of Mana Pools National Park on private concession. The scenery here is breathtaking and secluded, and the spot offers great dry season wildlife concentrations, being set near the shores of the Zambezi River and amongst the ana trees, a favorite treat for elephant herds. The ten spacious platform tented accommodations offer a comfortable arrangement with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor shower, and a 'bath with a view'. All of the tents overlook the scenic and peaceful Zambezi River.
The main lodge has a central dining room, bar, lounge, and library and overlooks the Zambezi River. The entire camp is connected by low-level wooden walkways and a separate deck offers a pool and the opportunity for sunbathing and star gazing.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
