Experience the untouched wilderness of South Luangwa National Park while staying at Chikunto Safari Lodge. This traditionally-styled safari camp is located along the pristine banks of Luangwa River and less than one hour's drive from the National Park's Mfuwe Gate. Chikunto property recently opened its doors in April, 2018, and has quickly gained recognition for its prolific wildlife viewing and distinctive natural beauty.

Chikunto Safari Lodge accommodates just 12 people in four luxury raised safari tents and one family tent. Each safari tent is well-appointed with king or twin beds, mosquito net, seating area and ensuite bathroom. Spend mornings or afternoons relaxing on your private outdoor seating area, enjoying a refreshment while keeping a lookout for wandering wildlife.

The main lodge offers a welcoming bar and dining area, as well as a salt water pool offering a cool respite from the heat of a safari drive. Gather in the evenings around the fire pit, sharing stories with others of the day's adventure.

The lodge welcomes couples, families and parties of friends seeking a distinctive, memorable safari experience in Zambia.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
