Day 1: Walking Tour of the Old Town with Mate Tasting
Join a scenic bike ride that starts from Colonia's historic cobblestone streets and continues along sandy river beaches until you reach the "Real de San Carlos" bullring. You are given an exclusive tour of the bullring before continuing the ride through rural trails. Depending on availability, you are then taken to either La Casa de Los Limoneros or Finca La Primavera to enjoy a local olive oil tasting. Although lunch at La Casa de Los Limoneros is recommended, it is not included in the excursion. This 4-hour experience includes a guide, snacks, bike, helmet, support vehicle, and transfer back to Colonia.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
