Soon we begin the grand journey. Lindsay and I started packing tonight since we leave in 3 days. We organized all the necessary gear, and even sprayed our clothes with mosquito and tick repellant. I am hoping if I spray some on my feet, it will take the smell away. We are both trying to "underpack", hopefully we can achieve this goal. I am bringing lots of gear, as is Lindsay, with a special focus on stomach medicines since we will no doubt be eating Guinea Pig! Please dont hold that against us, or for that matter , when we describe that it actually tastes like Chicken! We have wool socks, poncho rain coats.....blah blah Wednesday we start our Malaria medication, and Lindsay will also start her Altidude Meds. We will post again soon and keep you updated with the various hallucinations we have once we start the medications.
We have used AL for decades now to plan trips. Kassandra has been with us from the start and has never disappointed. She knows our family and our quirks and is always willing to fit the trip to us. This time we made her work for the booking because of family member schedules. It has all come together for a great Christmas gift for many families.
