Completely Rebuilt Sacha Lodge

      One reason I honestly wanted to visit Sacha Lodge was to learn if this property was truly worthy of receiving my travelers.  We’ve had some pretty old photos on the website, and they weren’t the most flattering.  But I quickly learned upon arrival that almost all of the client-facing buildings at Sacha Lodge have been replaced, renovated and updated since 2019.  Those old photos just aren’t accurate anymore.

      Cabins are modern, completely sealed and glassed in, and quite clean.  And, of course, because they are sealed and glassed in, they can be air conditioned.  (Controls are right by the bedside.)   Bathrooms are large, modern and clean.  Each cabin has its own deck, facing into the woods.

      There are two separate dining areas - one for breakfasts and lunches, served buffet style, and one for plated dinners, served off of a menu.  The breakfast and lunch area overhangs the lake, making for incredible views.  The dinner area is tucked into the woods a bit, as it will be dark by the time you eat anyways, so you might as well be serenaded by the serene sounds of nature while you are at it.

     I really can’t imagine a nicer spot to be immersed in the Amazon.  Clean, modern, air conditioned… but truly a part of the wilderness as well.
