Now we were really on our last hours on the cruise: in the morning, we took advantage of the lovely weather and walked around Nafplion again, to then found a beach where locals were enjoying their morning swim. It was a relaxing morning, followed by a bit more sailing and then getting to Hydra, a quaint island loved by artists such as Chagall, Picasso and Leonard Cohen. There are no cars allowed in this island, and exploring it means lots of steps and getting lost quite a lot, but it was a great farewell for us to the Greek islands: we loved every single one of them, and could not wait to come back.
After heading back to the ship we had our last evening onboard, followed by dinner and docking in Athens for our last overnight. We disembarked the next morning, having made many new friends and having spent one of the best cruises we were ever lucky to take on.
There are more than 6000 islands in Greece, but after sailing for a week in the Classical Greece itinerary, I can guarantee we visited the best ones.

Our advisor at Adventure Life, Mary Curry, was knowledgable and quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. She made our booking efficiently and set up a time for us to make a secure payment through her directly. We’ve used Adventure Life repeatedly and would definitely recommend it.

I selected Adventure Travel as I was not satisfied with the responsiveness of the agent for the cruise I was trying to book and it had good recommendations. So far, I am quite happy with my agent, Betty, very responsive and accommodating.
