Day two started with a buffet breakfast, followed by a visit to Delos: this sacred island is the mythological birthplace of Apollo, the Greek God. The island is only reachable by small boats or tenders, which we boarded on from out ship. The visit lasted for a couple of hours, and then it was time for lunch and getting ready for the afternoon and evening highlight: the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos. Known as the “island of the wind”, due to the strong winds blown from the north, the first image that comes to mind to most people when they think about this island is the red and orange colors of sunset by the water, marked by the famous windmills. The main town, Chora (as most of the main towns are called in the Greek islands) is a lively, labyrinth like place, which can be hectic during high season months and its famous for its nightlife and its cozy restaurants by the water. We chose to have food on the go and keep exploring, until it was time to catch the last transfer boat to where our ship had docked earlier that day.
Our advisor at Adventure Life, Mary Curry, was knowledgable and quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. She made our booking efficiently and set up a time for us to make a secure payment through her directly. We’ve used Adventure Life repeatedly and would definitely recommend it.

I selected Adventure Travel as I was not satisfied with the responsiveness of the agent for the cruise I was trying to book and it had good recommendations. So far, I am quite happy with my agent, Betty, very responsive and accommodating.

Jess was great. Our plans changed and we had to make some adjustments and she was super helpful. Finding us a cost-effective alternative to our original trip plan.

Erin was great to work with! Very quick with her replies and provided all the information I needed, no matter how many times I changed my request! This was my first time ever planning a trip like this and it couldn't have gone better.
