Athens - Kea

We were to embark by 3pm on day one, and while we were rushing from our Hotel to the lovely Harbor of Marina Sea, we were not sure what to expect. Once we got to our ship, the beautiful Variety Voyager, a “mega yacht” with a maximum capacity of 72 passengers, we were impressed: we were met friendly crew members who welcomed us with fresh juice and taken to our cabins located on the “Horizons” or upper deck, a gorgeous and spacious cabin with double windows and the best sea view.

Once we settled in, we got ready for a three course meal and our welcome by the captain. We got to meet some our fellow passengers and the rest of the crew, and after dinner, we got to the small island of Kea, where we were free to explore on our own, and enjoy a glass of local Greek wine in one of the picturesque bars overlooking the water.
