Over the course of my stay in Belize I stayed at and/or toured 10 of our partner properties in Belize. Whenever I take a trip I like to visit the hotels that our travelers stay at all the time. Not only is it a great opportunity to spot check the property and rooms itself, but its nice to get that hands on feel for each destination. The excursions are an important part of the trip, but feeling comfortable where you sleep every night might be an even bigger deal.
I was pleased to find there were not many "wrong" choices. Everyone has their preference, want to feel secluded and luxurious? Go with Victoria House or Xanadu on Ambergris Caye. Simple and comfortable, Ramon's on Amberris Caye or Rabert's Grove in Placencia. Like you're part of the family, Pook's Hill gets top marks. Full tilt luxury, Ka'ana near San Ignacio or Chabil Mar in Placencia. There is something for everyone!

Belize adventures
I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them. They work within our parameters of time, budget, activity level, and types of activities to give us great experiences!

We have been working with Adventure Life for 5 years now and it is very easy to plan out our trips. We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.
