An amazing journey through Peru with two old friends, two new friends, and a jaguar!

Although we’ve been married for nearly three months, the giddiness of our wedding day returns the moment my husband, Cory, and I pass through security at New Jersey’s Newark International Airport. After nearly a year of planning, we are officially on our honeymoon!

From the highs of Cusco to the depths of the jungle, this trip was one of the best of my entire life. The pictures tell a better story than I ever could.

What is your dream adventure? Traveling to Peru (Mira Flores, Cusco, trekking to Machu Picchu, and Puerto Maldanado) was a check off our bucket list. We stretched our mind and bodies and surpassed a trip of our wildest dreams.

Ken and I are left thinking, what could possible surpass this dream?

Our idea for this trip started with seeing Machu Picchu, but soon, trekking the Inca Trail became integrally important to the purpose of the trip. Dave & I are in our late 50’s.
