Barcelona, a UNESCO-Awarded City, is the second largest in Spain. It was the 12th-most-visited city in the world, and 4th most visited in Europe after London, Paris, and Rome. Especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the immense but still unfinished church of the Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882 and is still financed by private donations. Completion is planned for 2026. SeaDream almost always docks downtown at the World Trade Center and is steps away from the famous boulevard of La Rambla.
Collioure is surely the most picturesque coastal resort on the Mediterranean coast of South-West France. With the backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains tumbling into the sea, the old harbor, the impressive castle, wonderful old churches, beach-side restaurants, narrow old streets, bijou boutiques, art trails and three beaches, it's a favorite stop for travelers. Dock in the adjacent fishing harbor of Port Vendres, which also has nice restaurants and bars along the dockside. Collioure was first settled by the Phoenicians and Greeks as a trading port and, since then, has been occupied by Romans, Barbarians, Arabs, Spaniards (at least 4 times) and finally after the Treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659, the French. The Knights Templars built Collioure's impressive castle (Chateau-Royal) in the 12th Century and this was later used as a residence for the Kings of Mallorca. Collioure still makes a healthy living from its salted anchovies that are exported all over France.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
