Day 1: Embark in Copenhagen, Denmark

Board Le Boreal in Copenhagen in the late afternoon.

Day 2: At Sea

Enjoy the luxuries of Le Boreal as you cruise to Estonia.

Day 3: Tallinn, Estonia

Capital of Estonia, Tallinn is brimming with history and secrets. This great metropolis was particularly active in the medieval period and has preserved some beautiful monuments from that time. You can lose yourself in the heart of this city which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4-6: St. Petersburg, Russia

Capital of the Russian Empire from 1712 to its collapse in 1917, St. Petersburg has preserved a truly unique ensemble of architecture from this period, making it one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. There is so much to see here: Pavlovski Palace (the Tsar's summer residence), Peter and Paul Fortress, the Pushkin Museum, the magnificent Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, and of course the world-renowned Hermitage Museum where more than three million items are on display. The pomp and ceremony of the Tsars still hang in the air of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 7: Helsinki, Finland

Helsinki is known as the “daughter of the Baltic”, and this superb port city and cultural capital possesses great historical treasures. With its blend of European, Scandinavian, and Russian influences, Helsinki is a city of contrasts. The different architectural styles are the perfect reflection of the multicultural past of the country and its capital. Discover the Lutheran temple of Temppeliaukion that was dug from the rocks, Finlandia Hall, the palace of Concerts, designed by Aalto or the magnificent Orthodox cathedral. A city that literally lies on water, Helsinki is surrounded by numerous islands, some of which are fortified, such as Soumenlinna.

Day 8: Disembark in Stockholm, Sweden

  • 1 Breakfast
Disembark in Stockholm, built on 14 islands at the point where Lake Mälar flows into the Baltic Sea. A harmonious blend of tradition and new trends, Stockholm manages to combine futuristic town planning in the heart of natural surroundings. The old town “Gamla Stan” in Swedish is a maze of cobbled streets and alleyways lined with typical houses, their facades painted different colors, and is a lovely place to go for a stroll.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
