Outfitting stimulating and challenging trips to the wild and wonderful places in Belize since 1987, Island Expeditions Co. leads the way in Adventure Travel with over a dozen combinations of tried and true multi-sport and natural history itineraries to choose from.
For them, the art of travel begins with the community of cultures and people they visit. Island Expedition's Belize vacations are more than adventure and exploration in exotic locales. Along with skilled instruction in sports and activities, their trips brim full with learning and interaction with the people, the land, the sea, and the wildlife of Belize & Yucatan.

Responsible Travel
Island Expeditions has grown deep roots over its 30 years in Belize, drawing inspiration from the communities it engages with to focus its efforts on helping the people of Belize.
Their endeavors are not grand charities but rather numerous small initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the communities visited. A key part of their mission is finding ways to direct tourism dollars into smaller communities that may not typically attract travelers.
Several trips are operated in partnership with the Belize Audubon Society and the Belize Zoo. By collaborating with local conservation organizations, everyone benefits—travelers gain special access to Belize's most incredible places and have the opportunity to interact with scientists, artists, and community leaders.
To learn more about the range of projects supported when traveling with Island Expeditions, visitors are encouraged to explore further.
Belize Audubon Society
For over 40 years, the Belize Audubon Society (BAS) has served as the environmental conscience of Belize and is now involved in all aspects of nature conservation and education across the country. Visitors to protected areas in Belize are likely to be welcomed by friendly BAS park wardens, who manage some of the nation’s most famous attractions, including the world-renowned Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve, Blue Hole National Park, and Half Moon Cay. Island Expeditions’ trips to the remarkable Lighthouse Reef Marine Reserve are operated in partnership with the BAS, and these trips help fund the annual budget of the ranger station on this remote atoll.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Island Expeditions' programs are designed to provide grassroots assistance in the regions where they operate. While Belize has an excellent school system with extraordinarily dedicated teachers, many families, particularly in more remote communities, cannot afford to provide their children with basic school supplies.
Make Space in Your Case
Belize has an excellent school system with extraordinarily dedicated teachers, but many families, especially in remote communities, struggle to afford basic school supplies.
Island Expeditions' "Make Space in Your Case" initiative offers an opportunity for travelers to donate school supplies to students in Belize. By sharing just a pound or two of space in their suitcase, participants can help provide essential materials. Island Expeditions handles the collection, packing, and distribution to ensure the supplies reach the students and teachers who need them most.
Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

I’m so glad we found AdventureLife. Jess, our planner, was such a pleasure to work with. She readily shared her extensive knowledge about Panama, she offered good suggestions and creative ideas, kept everything organized and handled the details each step of the way.
