The Tides Hotel is Nelson’s central-city hotel, conference center, bar, & eatery, right on the Maitai River and just a few minutes walk from Nelson’s main shopping precinct.

The Tides Hotel is right on the river, and many of its rooms open onto the riverside. There are 47 rooms, consisting of studios, studio spas, spacious suites, and interconnecting rooms. Each studio is fully air-conditioned, equipped with a fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The en suite bathroom comes with toiletries and a hairdryer. There is an on-site, self-service laundry room. The staff at the tour desk can assist with making travel arrangements.
