Queenstown offers a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, water sports, horse riding, rafting, and bungee jumping.

Day 2: Queenstown | Bluff | Embark

In the morning, transfer by coach from Queenstown to Bluff, where your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht awaits. You can enjoy the stunning scenery of rugged mountains, serene lakes, and lush forests.

Upon boarding the Scenic Eclipse II, enjoy a glass of Champagne. Settle into your luxurious suite, meet your butler and fellow travelers, and raise a toast to your journey ahead.

Day 3: Scenic Cruising Milford Sound

Discover the unparalleled beauty of Milford Sound, nestled in New Zealand's Fiordland National Park. Marvel at the sheer grandeur of this natural wonder as you cruise along its pristine waters, surrounded by towering cliffs that rise hundreds of meters high. Prepare to be enchanted by the mesmerizing sight of cascading waterfalls and the captivating beauty of this majestic landscape carved by ancient glaciers.

Weather and conditions permitting, you might have a chance to book an optional flightseeing helicopter tour and soar above Fiordland National Park, sighting Milford Sound, dubbed "the eighth wonder of the world."

Day 4: Oban, Stewart Island

Stewart Island sits 30 kilometers off the southern tip of the South Island. It is one of the last inhabited outposts before you reach Antarctica, with its only settlement, the tiny village of Oban, clinging bravely to the northern shore.

This is New Zealand off the grid, a remarkably remote place of spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. The island is a haven for many birds, including the cute and curious brown kiwi, who outnumber humans and are active day and night. The Mãori name for Stewart Island is Rakiura, which means the land of glowing skies.

Freechoice:

Day 7: Kaikoura

Sailing north along the island's east coast, arrive in Kaikoura early this morning. This tiny town sits in a spectacular natural environment, flanked by the Pacific Ocean on one side and the snow-capped Seaward Kaikoura Range on the other. The town began life as a whaling station in the mid-1800s; visit the oldest surviving building, Fyffe House, or the Kaikoura Museum to learn more about its history.

Today, it retains all the charm and style of its heyday and has the largest collection of authentic Art Deco buildings on earth.

Freechoice:

Take some time to explore your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht, from the Sky Bar and outdoor Vitality Pool on Deck 10 to the tranquil Senses Spa on Deck 6 with its steam rooms, saunas, plunge pool, and KLAFS Salt Therapy Lounge.

Make the most of a second sea day, indulging in the many exceptional dining experiences on Scenic Eclipse II. Start with breakfast al fresco at the Yacht Club (be sure to return later to visit the large gelato fridge). Azure Bar & Café serves light meals, pizza, and salads for lunch. At night, dine around the world with Asian fusion at Koko’s, Sushi @ Koko’s, or fine French cuisine at Lumière.

Day 15: Norfolk Island, Australia

A tiny dot in the middle of the South Pacific, Norfolk Island is more than 800 kilometers northwest of the New Zealand coast and almost 1,500 kilometers east of Australia. The first thing you can see will be the tall Norfolk pines dotted along the clifftops, looking out over windswept coastline, deserted beaches, and surging seas.

Though the island technically belongs to Australia, it has a distinct personality and a fascinating past. It's been an agricultural settlement, a harsh convict prison, and the final home of the Pitcairn Islanders, descendants of the Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian wives.

Freechoice:
Half-Day Extravaganza: Visit Norfolk Island's historic areas, such as Kingston, Cascade, and Longridge. Admire the spectacular scenery and learn about its unique history.

Then watch the world slip by as you relax in a cabana on Deck 10 before taking a dip in the Vitality Pool with a refreshing drink in hand. Alternatively, ask the butler to bring afternoon tea to your suite so you can enjoy it on the private verandah while marveling at the endless ocean.

With its unique sub-tropical climate, around 150 islands, and thousands of postcard-perfect coves, this is a little slice of paradise on the North Island.
