My mother and I had planned our trip around the migrations of gray whales, which led us to arrive in San Jose del Cabo in the middle of Spring Break season. Hostel staying backpackers at heart, we took the local bus into Cabo San Lucas and gained a more authentic view of the ‘tourist corridor’ and the locals which call the peninsula home.
Arriving into Cabo, we hopped off the bus and checked into our hotel before immediately heading towards the beach for which Cabo is renowned. We were greeted by a very different scene from the local bus: the infamous Spring Break Party. Never having been a party-goer in college (and certainly not with my mother present), we walked along the beach and giggled to ourselves about the levels in intoxication that surrounded us. From one extreme to the other, we quickly learned that two very distinct flavours exist in Mexico, and it was easy to tell which we preferred.

Our advisor at Adventure Life, Mary Curry, was knowledgable and quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. She made our booking efficiently and set up a time for us to make a secure payment through her directly. We’ve used Adventure Life repeatedly and would definitely recommend it.

I selected Adventure Travel as I was not satisfied with the responsiveness of the agent for the cruise I was trying to book and it had good recommendations. So far, I am quite happy with my agent, Betty, very responsive and accommodating.
