Campamento Rio Lacanja is located in the Selva Lacandona which is full of towering trees, ferns, flowers, birds and mammals. The camp has rustic cabins that are built along the river bank, a restaurant, visitor center, swimming area and an interpretive trail and is in a great location to visit the Bonampak and Lacanja archaeological sites.
The camp's restaurant can accommodate up to 48 guests offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast generally consists of fruit, cereal or eggs or pancakes, sweet bread, milk, coffee or tea. Lunch is soup or cream, stewed with meat or vegetables and a glass of water or fruit juice. Dinner is spaghetti or chilaquiles with a latte, coffee, tea or fruit juice.
