Kuala Lumpur means "muddy river delta," a colonial city with over 150 years of history and a facinating array of cultures. Begin at Independence Square, your guide will share the history of Kuala Lumpur and how it grew from a few wooden houses at the confluence of two rivers to a metropolitan financial center of South East Asia. Highlights of the Tour are visits to Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Old High Court, Sze Ya Temple and Sri Mahamariaman Hindu Temple. Choose to end your tour back at your hotel, or your guide can drop you at the Central Market, a great place to shop for local souvenirs.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.

We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.
