Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll receive assistance with immigration and customs procedures before your transfer to the Hemingways Hotel.

Tonight, enjoy your dinner at Hemingways Hotel.

Located in Kenya, along the Nairobi River, the capital city of Nairobi is East Africa's most cosmopolitan city. It’s an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is the fourth-largest city in Africa and a vibrant and exciting place to visit. There are many fascinating attractions, including the cafe culture, bustling nightlife scene, the National Museum, and the Karen Blixen Museum. Notably, just 20 minutes from the city center, you can find wild lions and buffalo roaming in the world's only urban game reserve. Make sure you don't miss out on the opportunity to visit the elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Day 2-3: Elewana Elsa’s Kopje Meru, Meru National Park

After breakfast is a safari briefing. Then, head to Wilson Airport for the SkySafari charter flight to Meru National Park.

Note: Baggage allowance is 15 Kg/33Ibs in soft-sided bags.

Upon arrival, your guide greets you at the airstrip and takes you to Elsa's Kopje, just a short distance away. Check-in and lunch await upon arrival. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive.

On the next day, dive deep into the vast Meru National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive and indulge in a bush breakfast. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, set off for another game drive, including a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Conclude with scenic sundowners overlooking the park before returning to the lodge for a private dinner.

Day 4-5: Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp, Loisaba Conservancy

This morning, set out early for a hike up Mughwango Hill. After the hike, transfer to the Airstrip, enjoying game viewing along the way. Then board the SkySafari charter flight to Loisaba Conservancy Airstrip.

Located in Northern Laikipia, Kenya, East Africa, Loisaba Conservancy sprawls across 20,000 hectares of stunning African terrain. Two permanent rivers and numerous springs sustain a diverse array of wildlife, making it an ideal habitat. Renowned as a top-tier ecotourism destination, Loisaba offers unique experiences for nature enthusiasts. Witness elephant migrations, camp under the stars, and venture on exhilarating game safaris. Additional activities like camel trekking, mountain biking, horse-riding, fishing, guided bush walks, and cultural visits to Samburu villages are also popular here.

Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome and a briefing about the conservancy. Then, transfer to Loisaba Tented Camp with more game viewing en route. Check-in is followed by a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, venture on a game drive and enjoy a sundowner before returning to the camp for dinner.

On the next day, immerse yourself in the adventures offered by the camp. Enjoy activities such as game drives, cultural visits to Samburu villages, guided bush walks, horse and camel safaris, lion tracking, mountain biking, and seasonal fishing. You can also visit the conservancy headquarters and meet the anti-poaching sniffer dogs.

Enjoy lunch at the camp and take part in additional activities before your afternoon game drive. Wind down with sundowners in the bush and savor dinner under the stars.

Day 6-7: Elewana Sand River Masai Mara, Masai Mara

After breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip, enjoying game viewing along the way, for your SkySafari charter flight to the renowned Maasai Mara.

The Masai Mara, along with Tanzania’s Serengeti, creates Africa’s most renowned wildlife sanctuary, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The iconic image of acacia trees scattered across endless grasslands defines Africa for many, especially when adorned with a Maasai warrior and cattle. However, the pinnacle attraction of the reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration, a spectacle spanning the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. This migration stands as the largest movement of land mammals on Earth, with over a million animals following the seasonal rains. The reserve also hosts abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, and eland. Beyond traditional vehicle safaris, activities such as horse riding safaris and hot-air balloons over the Mara plains have become increasingly popular.

Upon arrival, your driver guide greets you and takes you to Sand River Camp for lunch. Afterward, take a break with a siesta or a refreshing swim in the pool before venturing on an afternoon game-viewing drive with sundowners.

Once back at the camp, freshen up before enjoying a delicious dinner.

On the following day is your last full day of safari. Start with an early breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive. Delight in a picnic lunch in the bush before returning to the camp. End the day with a dinner under the stars, reflecting on the highlights of the day.

Day 8: Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip for your SkySafari charter flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. Upon arrival, you are greeted and taken to the Airport Hotel, where a day room is available for the afternoon. Later, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
