Day 1: Arrive in Milan | Turin

Upon your arrival at Milan Airport, take a private transfer to the beautiful city of Turin, where a world of adventure awaits you. Once you have settled into your hotel, take the afternoon to explore Turin's historic centre and immerse yourself in over 2,000 years of rich history. From Roman times to the splendours of the Kingdom and beyond, Turin is a city that has truly stood the test of time.

Don't miss the chance to see the stunning piazza San Carlo and piazza Castello, where you can admire the breathtaking Madame Palace and Royal Palace. Take a step back in time as you explore the Royal Museums, which house the Chapel of the Holy Shroud - a true triumph of Baroque architecture by Guarini. After 20 years of restoration work, this stunning masterpiece is now accessible to all.

Make sure to take a break and indulge in Turin's famous gourmet scene. Head to a historic café in the city centre and try a bicerin - a delicious treat made from coffee, chocolate, and cream. These cafes were once the hub of cultural and political discussion in Turin, so why not immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy a taste of history?

Dine at your leisure tonight and soak up the stunning surroundings of Turin.

Day 2: Turin

Enjoy a private transfer to Porta Palazzo, home to Europe’s largest and most vibrant food market. Discover over a century of history as you wander through stalls with colorful fruits, vegetables, and local specialties. Meet passionate producers and indulge in a tasting of regional delicacies. After the tour, return to your hotel via private transfer and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 3: Turin | Alba | Langhe

Discover the incredible history and treasures at the Egyptian Museum, home to the second-largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world. With the guidance of an expert Egyptologist, immerse yourself in the fascinating stories behind each piece in this recently transformed, state-of-the-art museum. Explore over 10,000 square meters of space and marvel at the more than 6,500 treasures on display in new, high-tech showcases that truly enhance their beauty.

After a delectable lunch at a local trattoria in Turin, it's time to indulge the taste buds in the vineyard landscapes of the Langhe. When you arrive, your local guide in Alba will greet you and take you on a walking tour of the town, starting in Piazza Duomo. Learn about the history of this charming city and discover the flavors of the region with delicious tastings of the world-renowned hazelnuts used to make Nutella, the exquisite Barolo wine, known as "the king of wines and the wine of kings," and the exquisite white truffle products. End the day at your hotel in the heart of the Langhe, where you can relax and reflect on the wonders you've experienced.

Day 4: Monforte d'Alba | Barolo, Piedmont

As the sun rises over the hills of Monforte d’Alba, be in awe of the stunning and precise geometries of the grapevines that adorn the mild slopes around you. Your hiking guide will be waiting for you to embark on an unforgettable journey towards the charming village of Barolo.

After arriving in Barolo, take a moment to soak in the local atmosphere and indulge in a well-deserved Italian-style aperitivo with some delicious local specialties. You'll have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own pace.

Day 5: Langhe

This morning, join a private truffle hunt led by a skilled Trifulau, along with their loyal dogs, Taboj. Follow them through the enchanting woods of Langhe, where the most prized truffles in Italy are found. Immerse yourself in the art and tradition of truffle hunting as you learn tips and tricks from the experts themselves. After the hunt, indulge in a tasting of local treats infused with truffle flavor. Savor the distinctive aroma and flavor of this prized fungus that has been tantalizing taste buds for centuries. After a morning filled with adventure and culinary delights, return to your accommodation for a leisurely afternoon.

Day 6: Langhe | Canelli

Embark on a journey to the undergrounds of Canelli, the sparkling wine capital nicknamed as the "underground cathedrals". Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, discover Canelli's renowned wine cellars and the architectural beauty they hold. These cellars extend about 12 miles and were constructed in the early 19th century to preserve locally produced wine. Savor a delightful wine-tasting experience paired with local delicacies before returning to your accommodation. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Day 7: Langhe | Levanto

As you wrap up your morning meal, prepare for a wonderful journey to the charming coastal town of Sestri Levante. This quaint haven is known for its vibrant fishing community and stunning seaside views. And what better way to get there than through a private transfer? Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic ride as you make your way to this hidden gem.

Day 8: Cinque Terre National Park

Journey to the enchanting Cinque Terre, a collection of five picturesque villages perched along the sparkling blue sea. Admire the clusters of pastel-hued fishermen's homes, each radiating its unique charm. Stroll through these storied hamlets, savoring local delights like freshly baked focaccia. Conclude your exploration with a scenic return by train to your accommodation.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
