Day 2: Vis Island

Visit one of the most fascinating islands of Croatia. Least inhabited of all the Dalmatian islands, Vis has a strong cultural heritage and offers many attractions. The island also boasts some of the nicest beaches in the Mediterranean.
Day 3: Dubrovnik

Unmistakable terracotta buildings welcome you to Dubrovnik. Once described as ‘paradise on earth’, the city’s Old Town has centuries of history ingrained into its walls. It’s home to an array of churches, museums, and galleries, including the 7th-century Cathedral of the Assumption.
Day 4: Otranto

Regarded as ‘the far east of Italy’, Otranto gazes out on to the Adriatic Sea and was historically a key port for trade and conquest during Roman times. Today, you will find a picturesque town of fortifications, mouth-watering seafood restaurants, and a pleasant beach.
Day 5: Crotone

At the very tip of Southern Italy is the Calabrian city of Crotone. According to legend, it owes its name to Greek half-god Hercules, and there are Aegean influences at every turn, including the remnants of Apollo’s temple.
Day 6: Giardini Naxos

Giardini Naxos is a gorgeous beach resort, with a resplendent horseshoe-shaped bay and a seafront lined with bars and restaurants.
Day 7: Sorrento

A quaint resort credited with inspiring the works of Charles Dickens and Leo Tolstoy, Sorrento provides a romantic introduction to the Amalfi Coast. The historic town has spectacular views over the Bay of Naples, and its maze of cobbled streets is punctuated with cosy cafés.
Day 8: Civitavecchia | Disembark

Your time aboard your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht comes to an end in Civitavecchia. After bidding farewell to the crew and your fellow guests, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
The persons I spoke with knew the material. I wont know until I actually take the trip if it was all correct but at this point they were helpful in finding a trip that met my criteria

Creating a checklist was very beneficial and meeting objectives on certain dates helped as well (to keep my trip organized). The Adventure Travel personnel helped keep me on track which is why my trip was so successful. Communication from both travel agencies (AT/MT) was vital.

This is an amazing company to work with. I generally do not use tour companies as I am more of an independent traveller so I was slightly reticent. They were fantastic from the start - 10/10 - from lining up a phone call to discuss requirements, then their ongoing communication in the lead up to the tour and during it (thank you, Franny and Phen). They also explored cost-effective options (eg group transfers). The tour was in Patagonia so Adventure Life organised a pickup from the El Calafate airport to the El Chalten accommodation, two day hikes with a private guide and then to the El Calafate accommodation. A tour coordinator came to the hotel to explain, using the maps, what was involved in each day tour and what should be expected, and patiently answered all questions. The tour guide Marcos was excellent - very professional, knowledgable, communicative and at all times felt very safe with his navigational skills (important in the Patagonian wilderness). On the second day I forgot to take hiking poles so Marcos kindly gave me his. I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing and would happily recommend and book through them again.
