Tranquil Resort has seven rooms and two treehouses, is a comfortable drive away through the city of Bangalore and Calicut (Kozhikode), and is a Plantation Hideaway like none other. Tranquil is run with the efficiency of a resort but with the personalized touch of the family in charge!. Here you will get the feel of living in a working coffee plantation with Ajay and Nisha and their family always available to take care of any needs and answer your questions! Much of the experience at Tranquil is to enjoy the serene surroundings and re-charge your batteries.
The property known as Kuppamudi Estate was originally owned and run by the British plantation company until they sold it to Dutch entrepreneurs. After the independence, the plantation has sold to M/s Aswati Plantations Pvt Ltd in 1994, a company that has a long, rich history in successfully managing tea and coffee plantations.

Planters Garden Room
Planters Garden rooms are twin-bedded (each bed is 7 feet x 4 feet) and lead out onto an airy, spacious verandah, amply furnished with colonial Planter's chairs and cane furniture with footstools.

My travel planner, Jeff, who is on top of his field (based on travel industry awards), is a highly professional, very effective and, at the same time, personally nice individual. What was also critical to me is that he has a first hand experience traveling in the region that I am going to.
On top of that, the customer relations director, Sarah, has personally followed up to make sure I'm happy.

Belize adventures
I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them.
