Settle into your accommodation in Reykjavik or Keflavik (depending on your flight arrival time) and take the rest of the day to relax or explore independently. Stroll through Reykjavik’s lively streets, grab a bite at a local café, or relax and prepare for the journey ahead.

Set off toward the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with unforgettable stops along Iceland’s iconic Golden Circle. On the way, detour to the steamy Deildartunguhver hot springs and admire the flowing beauty of Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls. Set off from Hella aboard the Arctic Yeti Bus and journey into the heart of Landmannalaugar, a region renowned for its otherworldly beauty. Trek through a landscape shaped by ancient lava flows, surrounded by colorful mountains, shimmering lakes, and moss-covered terrain in vivid greens and yellows. Discover dramatic formations of basalt, obsidian, and rhyolite as you explore this volcanic wonderland. After an unforgettable day of hiking, return to your accommodation in the Hella area.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
